These theories, in turn, paved the way for scholars and researchers to devise techniques to reduce and ideally terminate anxiety pertaining to foreign language learning. Shy learners encounter anxiety while learning English. This anxiety hinders their processes of language learning. Since the role of educators is to facilitate the process of learning and ensure that nothing hampers it, they are required to have at their disposal instruments and strategies, which can help them engage this category of students in classroom activities. The present research paper tries to explore the causes of Moroccan EFL shy students¿ anxiety and attempt to determine the most effective educational strategies in involving shy learners of English.
