The flow field and characteristic of centrifugal pump with blades are simulated and predicted by ANSYS CFX-16.1 . The simulation is steady and moving reference frame is applied to take into account the impeller and volute interaction. For different tongue angle total pressure distribution and the changes in head as well as efficiency of the pump are computed and discussed.
