Additionally, the standard consistency and setting time of the cement paste were assessed for each super-plasticizer and dosage level. The results demonstrated that the appropriate dosage of super-plasticizers reduces water content, slightly delays setting time, and enhances the compressive strength of mortar and concrete without adversely affecting other fresh properties.
