However, PET undergoes hydrolytic degradation and stiffness at changing cooling temperatures promoting non-flowability of the material during extrusion. On the other hand, PP is a lightweight, flexible polymer with high impact resistance. For these reasons, the present work aims to formulate mixtures of r-PET/v-PP (10,30 and 50%) from PET waste in post-consumer bottles, extruded in filament (3mm diameter) to study the density, crystalline structure, and instantaneous plastic deformation by impact test in order to increase the flowability of PET in the extrusion and decrease the fragility in the coolingprocess in the filament.
