Here in this project two plants Ocimum sanctum L and Ocimum bacillicum L. leave's aqueous extracts were prepared and its effect on the seed germination of Chickpea and Mung Seeds. The data showed aqueous extracts enhance the germination speed and growth of the plants. Further analysis of identification of particular phytochemical is required as growth and germination enhancer.
