The research gives promising method for preservation in rural areas where they do not have any access to modern storage facilities. The present study also bridges gaps between the agricultural or plant sciences, human and animal health and environmental safety. Improved methods of application e.g., mechanical mixers for uniform and bulk coating of oil on grain, use of slow release dispensers/sachets which could be placed at different depths in storage structures, bins or bags, could be devised for ensuring and enhancing efficacy. Further study in this direction may be standardized many botanicals for its chemical and biological properties.
