They believe that, with Instagram, they manage to transmit a certain closeness to the audience, create empathy, talk about deep emotions in a simple way and turn what is personal into a universal feeling (Quelart, 2018).This book describes the process that young Ecuadorian writers go through to create their poems and storytelling and then publish them on Instagram. In the opinion of the Instapoets, this social network is a very interesting medium and works spontaneously to show extracts from their work or even from the creative process of writing. For them, the medium does not matter as much as the words. In their view, being creative involves thinking about how to explore ideas and how to express them.
