Rufous-necked hornbill (RNH; Aceros nipalensis [Hodgson, 1829] is one of four hornbill species found in Bhutan and is listed as "vulnerable" under IUCN Red List. Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park (JSWNP) of Bhutan is one of the important habitats for this highly restricted-range species. This research was done to study the distribution, relative abundance, habitat characteristics, food resources, foraging behavior, flock size, nesting behavior, and conservation threats of RNH in Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park, and is first kind of study in Bhutan.
