We hoped that, ultimately, we would be able to come up with useful conclusions, suggestions or alternatives to the death trend that a certain conception of progress and modernism is leading us to. It is our hope that the book will amply prove that our goal, however modest it may appear, has been reached and will provoke more reactions (from our readers) so as to open new perspectives on the issue of ecology.
