In this book, which is based on Ms. Pourmotamed's master thesis, both the legal basis of ship registration and its functions, as well as the legal aspects of parallel registration of vessels and its consequences, are presented. The aim of this study is to examine the future of dual registration of ships from a Swedish legal perspective.
