The next day in Katelyn's back yard she discovers that her best friend has been hiding her true identity to escape being teased as a dumb blonde. They start a new relationship and agree that the pen must be destroyed. Carolyn destroys the pen by breaking it in half. Simple. She hadn't tried anything so simple.
