After they're taken captive, she learns her irritating cellmate is a vampire—a weakened and very hungry one. Faced with being tortured to death, her only hope is to surrender her fate into his hands. Ronan agrees to keep an eye on his HSA contact's agent while investigating the disappearance of vampire servants, but he didn't count on that agent being a woman, and worse—the most intriguing creature he'd laid eyes on for thousands of years.
