Heddy Simmons, a Puget Sound writer, is happiest in her little green shed creating cozy mysteries and researching all things cultural, including paranormal anthropology. She can't help but blend bits and pieces of magic and mayhem with the criminal elements of her characters' adventures. Readers who appreciate dark tension, balanced with the support of strong friendships, will enjoy a Heddy Simmons mystery. Heddy's background includes newspaper reporting, teaching college, and tending to a garden. She has another mystery out titled Relative-ly Dead: A Family Tree Mystery.
