Produktbeschreibung
The book explores core concepts, technologies, and challenges of distributed data services. It aims to provide researchers, engineers, and students with a deep understanding of theoretical foundations and practical applications in distributed data systems. The book covers four main aspects: transaction models, processing languages, consistency mechanisms, and system architectures, exploring current research and practical applications. A key feature is its inclusion of hands-on exercises and practical training, notably offering step-by-step guidance on building a strong consistency protocol and implementing its operational framework. Readers will gain comprehensive understanding of core concepts, from storage architectures to consistency synchronization protocols. They'll master practical skills for designing and implementing efficient distributed systems, while gaining insight into industry trends and future directions. The book fills a gap in current literature by offering comprehensive coverage from theory to practice, making it significant for both research and industry in the era of big data and cloud computing.
