This is not a child's or your natural state. When a child is born, he or she is filled with light and joy; that is his natural state. Look at almost any toddler and that's what you'll see beaming at you. What happens to that joy? Children lose that joy because of their experiences in life, all the negative stuff that they encounter. Those negative feelings all come from the outside. The child is innocent; he or she is not at fault. But this negative view of themselves is all most children have ever known. They have absorbed as fact the labels that have been applied to them by family, peers, and the broader culture. Even if they've been told they're special, they are filled with insecurity and so are fearful and suffer. The purpose of this book/course is to help you, the reader, see yourself not as a collection of the negative (or positive) traits that you've been labeled with by others and yes, even yourself, but to return home to your natural state, which is your heart, and so be free of your wounds. And so discover your power.
