Shepherd has been a serious Bible student, teacher, and evangelist involved in disciple-making for fifty-one years. He also is the Director of the Ministry Institute at Amridge University, Montgomery, AL. He has a Doctorate in Missiology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a PhD in New Testament text from Amridge University. He teaches Bible, evangelism, church growth, and mission classes. He has worked in local church ministry and disciple-making missions in America and several foreign nations.
