On realization of the reality, the Government of Bangladesh has undertaken a lot of plans and programs, community based initiatives for risk reduction through disaster management. The book presents the disaster management with highlights the government action and the programs, community based initiatives, indigenous coping mechanism which engages communities to deal with disaster risks.
