This book describes the basic functions of the European Digital Radio DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcasting plus) with its direct possible applications in a simple way. The book refers to fundamentals of DABs 80+ norms and specifications. Presented subjects are indicating problems of DAB signal propagation and possible multimedia applications. Autor

Marian Oziewicz received his doctorate at the Warsaw University of Technology. From 1967-1968 he was an assistant at the Institute of Electronics, GUT. From 1968-1972 he did his doctoral studies at the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the University of Wroc¿aw and then from 1972-1980 was an assistant there. From 1980-1985 he was an employee of the PAN Branch in Wroc¿aw and a secretary of the Exact Science Terminology Section at the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 1985 he was an engineer at the Institute Automation of Power Systems in Wroc¿aw and a research and technical employee at the Wroc¿aw Department of the Institute of Telecommunications.
