I must say that life was never dull, but on the contrary absorbingly interesting always. I spend a lot of time talking to God and I think I know him well. As I look back at my life, from the lofty perch of eighty seven years old, I wonder sometimes, how I ever reached this great age, but before I go any further I should, first of all, tell you my name, which, by the way, is Godfrey. My parents saw it on a packet of American cigarettes, namely, 'Godfrey Phillips'. I don't regard myself as a medium or anything like that, just an ordinary puzzled guy, that's all, who wishes, like most of us, to have normal dreams. Although my memory is beginning to falter a little, I can still remember clearly.
