Evident amongst these threads is the need for the cultivation of Indigenous pride to assist Aboriginal youth to grow and develop these threads into a sustainable culture. The creation of positive oral histories is celebrated and enhanced while honouring Traditional ways of knowing and being. Aboriginal youth are ready to take up the leadership reigns and as a society, we need to understand and create meaningful ways to support Aboriginal youth in their quest.
