Born and raised on Detroit's east side, Mimi Staver has been fascinated by ghosts since she was a child; she experienced her first ghost sighting at age nine. She joined a paranormal investigative group in 2002 and began writing a journal about her encounters. She is also the author of Ann Arbor Area Ghosts.
