The author first proposes a new refinement based on geometric construction for calculation of haemagglutinin in single radial immunodiffusion method. The area of a circular ring of precipitation which was formed as a result of precipitation antigen HA with a strain-specific polyclonal antiserum in agarose gel. The amount of antigen present is proportional to the area of the circular ring of precipition.
