Yvonne Rivers is a native of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. She graduated from C. A. Brown High School and later from Rice Business College, and is a member service representative at a utility company.Yvonne is married and has four children. Her husband, Arthur, has been very supportive as she embarks on her publishing ventures. A minister at Lord of the Harvest, C.F.C. in North Charleston, South Carolina, Yvonne has been writing poetry for more than twenty-five years. She loves to encourage people and let them know that better is possible. Yvonne's favorite saying is "I've come this far by faith."
