In this Book an application framework is presented to optimize the embedded systems resources. Authors also present a software engineering model based on SysML for the proposed framework. The proposed framework contains mainly 3 layers which are kernel layer, service layer and user application layer. The kernel layer includes device drivers, power management, memory management, time management and event driven mechanism. The service layer includes a compact TCP/IP stack and a socket component. The user application layer includes the user program.
