A large multitude of work has been done to assist the visually impaired. Here, we will develop a computer vision system to be implemented on MATLAB. This system will take a video input from a camera attached to the cap of a blind person. It will be able to detect and classify different obstacles like table, chair, staircases etc and will thus guide the person to follow an obstacle-free path.
