This is an expository research work aimed at the determination of the environments of deposition and ages of the benthonics and planktonics found in the Eastern part of Nigerian. This is an expository research work aimed at the determination of the environments of deposition and ages of the benthonics and planktonics found in the Eastern part of Nigerian. Biostratigraphic, Palynological and Sedimentological Sieve analysis were carried out to determine the different Geologic Ages. Age determination was done using the association of both benthonic and few diagnostic planktonic forms such as Miliammina inflata, Textularia gilberdina, Globigerina inflata, Heterohelix moremani, indicating a Campanian-Maastrichtian age for locations V, VI and VII while Campanian-Paleocene for Location VIII. Locations V, VI and VII belong to the Enugu Formation while Location VIII belongs to the Enugu Formation and the Owelli Sandstone. The morphology of the forams were used to deduce the Palaeoenvironment of deposition. This work will aid Undergraduate and Postgraduate students interested in determining the ages of Geologic Formation and their various environments of deposition. It will enhance the knowledge base of Geoscientist's and serve as a catalyst for both local and international Oil and Gas companies interested in venturing into the Hydrocarbon business in Nigeria
