As we watch the tender feet take steps independently out of the laps into the real world, have we ever wondered, if those tender feet require any special care to grow healthy? As the child outgrows a footwear earlier than the footwear wears out, we are happy to house the child¿s foot in footwear passed from one child to the other. It is common to see toddlers wearing shoes with pointed toes or small heels because the same ¿are in fashion¿. However, all this can be detrimental to the soft and supple feet of the child. The book aims to design and develop toddler¿s footwear using innovative and multiple design research tools. It addresses a very important facet of ¿Designing and Manufacturing Comfort footwear for toddlers.¿ Through the research, the author has been able to successfully develop scientific footwear for toddlers which can help them attain a gait in shod conditions, close to their natural gait and is aesthetically appealing. An attempt has been made to show how human centric approach used in this research can incorporate a broad range of findings for understanding toddler¿s preferences and to provide a premise for future researchers to adopt innovative research methods.
