An explosion rips through GeneSci with tragic consequences, and Tim hurtles into a forbidden relationship. He must race against time to solve the crime masterminded by a devious and formidable enemy. A mammoth/elephant hybrid is born and prompts the De-extinction rebels into staging in a demonstration that spirals out of control. His life begins to fall apart.
