Kiran Sreekumar is a data architect specializing in Data and AI and governance at Databricks.He has been designing and developing data engineering, data warehousing and data governance products and use cases since 2012 with an overall experience of 15 years across various industries. While working for Tata Consultancy Services between 2012 and 2015, when Hadoop and Big Data were experiencing a surge in popularity, he was part of a team that built one of the initial products for data archival and governance on the Apache Hadoop platform, called "Active Archive". He speaks about data and AI at conferences and runs the Databricks user group based out of Edinburgh in Scotland. Kiran holds a Bachelor of technology Degree in Electronics and Communications. He currently works with Databricks as a Specialist Solutions Architect and is based out of the United Kingdom.
