Though it touches upon gender identification, it is a story many can identify with as it is an introspective study that focuses on our struggles with ourselves. We journey with the nameless protagonist and others as the horrors and truth of their existence after death become apparent. In time, some come to realize that they have given fear and doubt endless power and must now reclaim this power if they are to survive. Slowly, some see that their biggest tormenter and jailer is themselves.
