Autor

Dr. Patricia Laing is an anthropologist, public speaker, passionate beekeeper, and now the author of a children's book. She lives with her bees in the Akatarawa Valley, New Zealand on a property that her ancestors first settled in 1875. A granddaughter who lives with her in their three-generation household is the inspiration for writing these children's books about honey bees, 'The Honey Bee Trilogy'. When she is not tending the honey bees, chickens, or food forest, Patricia spends her time advocating for bees, exploring the healing properties of herbal remedies and honey, and working with the local landowners to preserve indigenous biodiversity.
