Sandi Martinez is a Filipino-American author, publisher, and small business owner based in Danbury, Texas. She is the founder of Tahanan Tales Press and the youngest Filipino-American publisher in the United States. Sandi owns and operates the Children's Clubhouse Daycare & Learning Center, where she blends her passion for early childhood education with her commitment to serving local families. She is the creator of the Tall Tahanan Tale Collection - a groundbreaking series of children's books that feature real Texas towns, landmarks, and businesses in beautifully illustrated, faith-centered stories. Her debut title, Danbury: Little Town, Big Heart, made Texas literary history as the first children's book to feature a real small town and its authentic local places. It is also the first to receive licensed permission from Dollar General to include their brand in a children's publication - a milestone in the company's 80+ year history.Sandi draws inspiration from her deep Christian faith, her Filipino heritage, and her life as a small-town business owner.
