What do we see when we look at God's commandments? We see a problem with our heart's condition. God is perfect and holy, but we are lawbreakers by the way we constantly disobey God. Breaking God's law means we are sinners. Since we are sinners, we fall short of God's standard of heaven, and the consequence for sin is death. God is righteous and just, so He has to give everyone the due penalty for their actions. By God's loving grace, He sent His Son to live a perfect life under the law so that He can take our place. What does God want us to do in order to be right with Him and go to heaven? He wants us to believe what He has provided for us as a substitute for our sin, which is what Jesus Christ did on the cross to pay the penalty we deserve. Jesus' sacrifice is sufficient because He rose again on the third day and is now physically in heaven right now at God the Father's side. By understanding our sinful position, acknowledging its penalty, knowing that God has provided the only solution to sin-which is the life and work of Jesus Christ-believing and receiving what God has spoken in His Holy Word, you can be saved. Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:1-9. Kyle D. Robin was born in the Acadiana area of southern Louisiana, where Cajun dialect is rich in culture. As a boy growing up, Kyle migrated and lived throughout all the small towns of Acadiana, which include Henderson, Bayou Portage, Arnaudville, Prairie de Femme, and lastly settled in Breaux Bridge, where he now lives with his wife, Amber Robin, along with their children. Kyle was 23 years old when he became a born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Since then, Kyle has been discipled through the Navigators 2:7 Discipleship Program as well as having graduated from Liberty University with certifications in general Bible studies. As a Christ follower, Bible studier, and father of many years now, Kyle found an interest in writing his first children's book for his son and grandchildren. Being that Kyle is a follower of Christ and a Cajun, he thought, "Why not write biblical accounts in Cajun dialect for children?" This idea gave Kyle the desire to come up with the series Da Cajun Translation. It is Kyle's desire and purpose to write and illustrate accurate children's books for every family who wants to raise children to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Both parents and children will find each book enjoyable and great for learning.
