This book is the compilation of my Post-graduation research project intitled "Cardio-protective effect of alchoholic extract of Cyperus rotundus in myocardial necrosis in rats". The book present the outcomes of this experimental research establishing Cyperus rotundus as an effective cardio-protective drug. The book also discusses, in breif the causes and other established treatments of myocardial disorders. The research article on this project has also been published in International journal of pharmaceutical sciences & Researches, vol.3 issue 8,august 2012. I hope this book will serve the future researchers in their endeavours.

Autor

Syed Mehdi Raza is currently working as R&D Analyst in Reckitt Benckiser India Ltd. in Gurgaon, India. He has completed his Master in Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from Integral university, Lucknow, India in 2011.The current book is his first publication which is a compilation of his post-grdauation project work.
