The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of cyberspace dependence in Air Force flying squadrons. The use of information technology (IT) in the workplace continues to transform the way squadrons conduct operations. While IT enables processes and capabilities, it also adds complexity and vulnerabilities. Therefore, airmen are required to have a higher technical aptitude as well increased awareness of their roles and responsibilities as routine operators of IT systems.
