These stories are true, raw, emotional, and incredible examples of ways that God guides and directs each of our lives. About the Book: This book is separated into three different sections. Part I consists of Chapter 1 through Chapter 8 with five questions for Lessons & Reflection at the end of each chapter. Part II is four different chapters with four story testimonies, of each of the women she interviewed for this book, in each chapter. Part III is the inspirational stories pulled from Carmen's online fitness program she created in 2022 accompanied by scripture and prayer. Carmen prayed over the format of this book, and originally it was supposed to have two instead of three sections to it. God has led Carmen in the design and layout of this book and all the individual details governing this entire book project. The book begins with an overview of how God impacted Carmen's life and builds from there. It discusses Milestones, Compass, Perseverance, Transformation, Enlightenment, Fruits of the Spirit, Self Confidence, and BluePrint for a life with Jesus Christ in the center. The middle section is composed of sixteen different life story testimonies with Faith being the constant thread interwoven throughout all of these stories. The third section is designed to encourage you to dig deep and reflect on some of the morals and lessons as they apply to your everyday life. It is also written to help pull your heart closer toward Jesus Christ.

Carmen Maendel is a talented courageous woman of God expressing herself as a poet through her publication of "Enigma" copyrighted 2006 and author of an online fitness program: Rock Hard Body in 2022. She has owned/co-owned and operated four businesses in the past twelve years (Genoa Denim and Leather Apparel, Carmen Maendel Photography, and Maendel Fitness Gym & Spa) and currently co-owns and operates Nate's Property Maintenance LLC with her husband, Nate Maendel. Prior to this she taught English and Math in Special Education for five years and had a successful eight year career as a Stockbroker and Financial Advisor with Edward Jones and JP Morgan Chase.Carmen in conjunction with a close friend, Traci Galles launched and operated Genoa Denim & Leather Apparel during 2012. These ladies were published in the Brainerd Dispatch Paper by Renee Richardson on August 17, 2012 for their creative and innovative company. Despite the failure of the transference of this company to the online space, they were able to sell it to Underground Apparel that same year for a profit. Carmen's creative edge blossoms in her poem "Enigma" and her showcase piece, "A Little Loony" for Carmen Maendel Photography. Enigma was published in Timeless Voices, The International Library of Poetry Editor's Choice Series copyrighted in 2006 and it depicts the deep mysteries and anticipations about the innocence of growing up. A Little Loony has been recognized in world wide photography contests from 2013 to the present, and continues to stand out as her masterpiece photograph of all time. Carmen created and launched an online program, Rock Hard Body in 2022 in which she encapsulated all the training and coaching she had done in the Maendel Fitness Gym for the last eight years with over fifty women. She overcame her own fears and broke through barriers producing this program, through the guidance and coaching of James Allen and Mercile Martinsen. She has inspired women all over the world to discover their spiritual sides of themselves and crush obstacles blocking their path to their freedom and goals. Today, Carmen enjoys using the talents and gifting God has given her to compliment her husband with his talents and gifting in owning and operating Nate's Property Maintenance LLC. They are a husband and wife team, and run a professional and efficient business together with their Team of NPM workers. Carmen handles all business on the home front and Nate coordinates all the intricacies of the tree projects with their clients and crew on the job sites. Nate and Carmen enjoy family time boating, hiking, vacationing over seas, and other various outdoor activities during their downtime. They continue to view their business as a service and value the depth of the relationships they form with their clientele. Carmen has recently contributed her authorship to multiple anthologies with She Rises Studios and Fenix TV; writing chapters for ten different books, and is a debut solo author with the book, Courageous Woman: Casting Cares Upon Jesus coming September 9th of 2025.
