This study identifies the process of carrying out of cost-effectiveness analysis on Reinforcement of the response to the humanitarian crisis through integrated, health, and nutrition intervention in the Lake Region of Chad. It discusses the different interventions which should be undertaken by a Humanitarian organization so as to effectively manage the crisis within the Lake Chad regions in a cost-effective manner. It also identifies the different applications of cost-effectiveness within the health sector as well as other sectors. The different term which is related to cost-effectiveness is also described within the thesis. The knowledge and literature about cost effectiveness are also well explained as identified by both past authors and contemporary authors; the similarities and differences between contemporary literature and past literature about cost-effectiveness are elaborated. Some of the interventions illustrated within the thesis include immunization and breastfeeding as the baseline. The analysis of cost efficiency among humanitarian organizations is not a new concept, different humanitarian community or organizations have borrowed or developed various metrics.
