Immediately following graduation from Florida State University, Lara was determined to find her place in the world beyond advertising all-nighters and social events. Meet Copper. A Tallahassee native with a heart for turkey bacon, sunshine, and Taylor Swift music. He was born blind and in need of a forever home. That is when he met Lara. She came across his advertisement and knew she could give him the love he needed. What she wouldn't find out until later is that she would need him more than he ever needed her. There were more laughs, snuggles, and calming kisses than any girl could ever ask for. Whoever said diamonds were a girl's best friend really meant Dachshunds.
