With a greater understanding of the state-of-the-art overview on student-exchange collaborations between universities, this study objectively helps these decision-makers and stakeholders realize some problems and side effects of their current approach in relation management, which (potentially) hinder the performance of intercontinental student-exchange activities. The study assists the introduction and adjustment of critical policies and programs in order to optimize the guidance and facilitation to universities on real international student mobility.
