The research aims to analyse the processes of teaching and learning in the exploratory analysis of data, through the project methodology. The study was carried out at an undergraduate level with engineering students, with a qualitative research approach, since it intends to explore and contextualize an educational reality; in particular, to describe the interactions that occur in the classroom; its implementation and evaluation allowed to describe the role of the teacher and the students; likewise, the structural elements of some graphics included in the projects presented by the students were characterized.
