In addition to her adult-oriented work, Andrea is also venturing into the world of children's book writing. Her passion lies in helping others understand the positive connections they can foster with one another.Her works have been featured in various publications, including Stunning Poetry (Silent Spark Press), Poems in Praise of Libraries (Sims Library of Poetry), and 1619 Speaks (CLI Books). As the founder of www.writingjourney101.com, Andrea has developed platforms like Poetry in Motion, a literacy programs for teenagers and young adults, and Writing Journey 101 Press.As a host of a weekly poetry show on Let's Talk Radio, The Artist Connection, Andrea connects with her audience every Thursday at 8 pm PT. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she is a proud mother of four children and dedicated to empowering her community.Andrea is an alumn of the Community Literature Initiative, where she continues to be involved as a Teacher's Assistant.
