The computer aided multi-purpose pumps testing system basically consists of pumps characteristics in different configuration. The system developed by upgrading the old system by implementing a data acquisition system with module based control software called COMPUTE (COmputer Multi-purpose PUmps Testing) on a personal computer located in hydraulic laboratory of mechanical engineering department in Eastern Mediterranean University. COMPUTE is flexible user friendly software that has been developed for performing measurements calculation, plotting and automating the operation of laboratory instruments. It provides the use of a number of modules to control various experiments in hydraulic laboratory at the same time such as a minor, majore loses test machine.
