The subject of graph theory had its beginnings in recreational math problems, but it has grown into a significant area of mathematical research, with applications in chemistry, operations research, social sciences, and computer science. The study is based on the transmission and reciprocal transmission-based topological indices of graphs. Computation of these indices for some special class of graphs by giving explicit expression.

Dr. Saroja Yallappa Talwar obtained her B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from Karnatak University, Dharwad, India. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, Sarada Vilas College, Mysore. Her area of interest includes Graph theory, Topological indices. She has published 11 research articles.
