The social attention to the Older Adults is the sum of actions directed to offer them well-being, social, recreational, economic, health and cultural, where the Older Adults through different strategies manage to optimize their emotional state. For the achievement of mentioned social attention the intern was based on the methodology of the Latin American Center of Social Work (2004); she applied interviews to the Older Adults and their relatives, from there she elaborated a social diagnosis where she identified the problematic situations and hierarchized the intervenible situations from the perspective of the Social Work. From this she elaborated a program, which consists of four projects directed to the recreational area, socio-economic management, sensitization to society and family relations. The application of the projects yielded positive results for the Older Adults, their families and the institution.
