Grace Mere and Ivy Wilcoxen of the Deer Creek Garden Club decide to investigate Eunice's murder after the arrest of Dash Lethaby, whom they believe to be innocent. Their quest reveals the quirks, foibles, misunderstandings and sometimes the downright silliness of small town life. It also shows the good intentions, kindness and humor that can be found in life everywhere.
