Terry Nijjar was born and raised in Canada for most of his life but spent three of his teenage years in India, where he learned how to read and write two languages within his first school year.Through his time in India, he was privy to the life and struggles of a diverse population. As he spent time with people from different religions, education and social statuses, he saw that practically everyone he met had some form of worry.Later in life, Terry developed anxiety which eventually led to depression. In his mind, he had gotten to such a low point that he was considering taking his life. Luckily, his love for his spouse and two kids motivated him to keep pushing forward, and they were the anchor that gave him the will to keep fighting. Finally, one day Terry decided that he had had enough and would eliminate his depression once and for all. So, armed with the knowledge he had gained through his time in India and after reading countless books on the topic, he set out to battle his depression, eventually overcoming it without medication.As he understands how the mind can drive someone to a low point and how much suffering exists there, he decided to help others free themselves from their suffering. He has made it his mission to help others become free from stress and live a fulfilled life. Thus, In his debut book, Complete Transformation: A New You, A New World, Terry shares the knowledge that helped him escape depression.Today, Terry lives with his wife, two children and their two-year-old Labradoodle.
