In today's crisis conditions of development of processes of globalisation of economic relations between countries and toughening of competition, the task of the state is to ensure competitiveness of the national economy. The book presents an algorithm developed by the author of the mechanism of transformation of sources of competitive advantage (ICI) into competitive advantage and competitiveness (CEP). Based on the model of elementary link of economic relations, the analysis of features of processes of behavior of owners and consumers of ICT, buyers of competitive product is carried out. The author has identified the preferred characteristics to meet the conditions for the effective functioning of the mechanism of transformation of ICPs. The cumulative influence of the government on ensuring favourable conditions for the transformation of IRP is reflected in the structure of specific activities developed by the author. This aggregate of the government's expedient influences can be used as the basis for analysing the effectiveness of a country's government's economic policy measures aimed at ensuring the QI of the national economic system.
