And his brother-in-law, Glenn, faced severe clinical depression that tragically ended in suicide. Autor

Hayden Fricke began his adult life as a professional tennis player, competing on the gritty Satellite Circuit. While he never reached the sport's elite level, the intense pressure and lack of support for mental wellbeing sparked his deep interest in Sport Psychology. This passion grew alongside personal struggles-Hayden's younger brother suffered a mental breakdown and was later diagnosed with schizophrenia, while his older brother battled anxiety and depression. During this time, his parents went through a difficult divorce. Witnessing this emotional turmoil left Hayden wanting to help but unsure how, ultimately guiding him toward a career in psychology.Over the past 30 years, Hayden has worked across a range of areas-starting in sport psychology, drug and alcohol counselling, and mental health. He soon gravitated toward positive psychology and, in 1996, completed a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology. He has been immersed in this field ever since.For 15 years, Hayden held senior leadership roles, including Consulting Organizational Psychologist at a global firm, Director of People and Culture in financial services, General Manager of a large business, and Group Head of Organizational Development for a global property and services company. These experiences laid the foundation for founding Steople in 2009.Since then, alongside an extraordinary team of Directors, Hayden has built Steople into a thriving global consulting firm, with offices in Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. His long-term vision is to leave a legacy by helping leaders create psychologically safe, high-performing workplaces across the globe.Hayden is the author of Leaders, Do You Have Your Sht Together?*, which explores leadership and culture, and Compassion, a deeply personal reflection on supporting his brother Craig through a lifetime of mental health challenges.Outside of work, Hayden continues to enjoy tennis and stays active through biking, swimming, skiing, gym workouts, surfing, and walking. Above all, he's grateful for his family - his wife Lynne and their three inspiring young adult children: Eliza, Josh, and Jemma.
