In this book, we discuss about several stories of Iranian literature and western literature. Similarities and differences of these stories will be reviewed and then, we compare the narrative structure of the stories. In the fourth part, the story of Layla and Majnun has been compared with the story of Romeo and Juliet. All stories have been studied in terms of narratology and were analyzed in accordance with the views of Greimas and Todorov.
