Thus a study was carried out in two groups of patients consisting of five members each. The first group of patients were treated with Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics. They were strapped-up with Self-ligating Brackets and the retraction forces were delivered with NiTi closed coil springs. For the patients of Group B conventional orthodontics without performing any surgical intervention was carried out.The retraction forces were generated using active tie -backs. The time taken was noted and treatment changes for both the groups were assessed and analysed using steiners analysis.
